Job Description
1. MAJOR DELIVERABLES:
Define quality procedures setting up and maintain controls and documentation procedures;
Coordinate the activities required to meet quality standards, promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organisation;
Monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system and produce data and report on performance;
Issue and implement the annual audit plan;
Identify relevant quality-related training needs and deliver training;
Advise on needed changes and their implementation;
Liaise with other managers and staff throughout the organisation to ensure that the QA system is functioning properly;
Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation and with all applicable, corporate, departmental and organizational policy requirements;
Provide primary interface and issue resolution with regulatory bodies on relevant aspects of the quality system;
Assure qualification and qualification maintenance of quality controls;
Must possess a thorough understanding of FAR/EASA Part 21 requirements. (DCGA Requirements also)
Must be familiar with industry quality standards such as AS/EN 9100
Prior experience in working with international regulatory authorities is desired.
2. RIGHT PERSON :
Key Skills and Knowledge:
Education: Bachelor in Engineering;
Must possess a thorough understanding of FAR/EASA Part 21 requirements. (also DCGA Requirements);
Must be familiar with industry quality standards such as AS/EN 9100;
Prior experience in working with international regulatory authorities is desired;
Previous experience in a similar role in aeronautical field is appreciated;
Prior experience in a fast paced, global manufacturing environment will be given preference;
Knowledge of Aviation legislation is appreciated
