Job Description
Cabin Crew Support Services Manager
The Cabin Crew Services Manager position plays a critical role within the Cabin Services department by contributing to the business performance of the department through effective and efficient management of support services across all functions of Cabin Crew Department. The person will be responsible to;
§ Leads and manages the operations of support services administrative staff including unit re-sourcing, supervision and prioritization of duties.
§ Ensure that all Cabin Crew are provided with safe, secure, clean and comfortable accommodations at all times during their employment with the company.
§ Implement and monitor an annual accommodation refurbishment and maintenance program in order to ensure proper upkeep of accommodations according to set company standards.
§ Manages and coordinates workplace health and safety processes across the various buildings which are actively utilized by the Cabin Crew.
§ Provide care to Cabin Crew members who are recognized as being in need of counselling through illness or other personal difficulties. Ensure the emotional well being of approximately 5000 Cabin Crew.
§ Contributes to the achievement of excellence in customer service, by providing superior service to our Cabin Crew through Welfare & Housing units.
To be successful in this role the right candidate must have
§ Degree from a recognized university or equivalent professional qualification will be preferred
§ 6 - 8 years of experience in a relevant field of support services.
§ Experience in the Hospitality, Nursing, or Social Services field would be ideal
§ Well developed interpersonal and communication skills including extensive experience in liaison, negotiation and consultation with external clients, staff and management.
§ Ability to develop, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of administration systems, policies to facilitate the achievement of efficient operations within Housing & Welfare units.
§ Computer literate, with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
