Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is the best for Aerospace Engineering program
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University retained its rank as the best aerospace engineering program in the nation for the 12th straight year while Stetson University in DeLand remained one of the South's top regional universities, according to U.S. News & World Report.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach campus placed No. 1 in the category of "Aerospace/Aeronautical/Astronautical" for engineering schools with bachelor and master's degrees.
Embry-Riddle's main Daytona Beach campus continued leading the way in the nation for best undergraduate engineering programs in the category of "aerospace/aeronautical/astronautical" for schools with bachelor or master degrees. The campus in Prescott, Ariz., ranked third -- similar to last year.
Embry-Riddle's Daytona Beach campus tied for 11th for "Best in Undergraduate Engineering," similar to last year. The Prescott campus tied for 16th.
Robert Morse, director of data research for U.S. News & World Report, said Embry-Riddle "is strong in aerospace and the rankings continue to validate that."
