Hamburg is the world’s third largest center for civil aviation and home of the new super jumbo Airbus A380.
As a partner with Virginia Tech, Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW-Hamburg) provides an excellent opportunity for study abroad in the discipline of Aeronautical Engineering. The courses are taught in English on their campus in Hamburg, Germany and include modules in the university's particular fields of expertise "Aircraft Design & Lightweight Structures" and "Aircraft Cabin/Cabin Systems." Hamburg University of Applied Sciences offers a scholarship of 1,000 Euros and additional scholarships are offered by Virginia Tech. For scholarship information please submit the request form below. The program brochure contains additional program information including tuition/semester contribution and housing costs.
This program is open to students who have attained Junior status, have successfully completed "Deformable Bodies" and "Statics" and have a GPA at of at least 2.9. The application deadline is October 30, 2011.
