Kingston University is located in Kingston on the banks of the River Thames near London and Surrey. The school’s history goes back more than a 100 years to 1899, when it first started out as Kingston Technical Institute. Kingston University has four campuses: Knights Park campus; Kingston Hill, which is set in landscaped gardens; and Knights Park and Roehampton Vale, which are linked by the college’s bus service.
Kingston University has around 19,000 students on its rolls with around 2,500 international students from 132 countries worldwide. The college has 7 faculties, which are divided into 26 schools. Eight colleges are accredited to the university.
Other than undergraduate and postgraduate courses, Kingston University also offers foundation degrees, research degrees, and short courses. The college offers a wide range of subjects to choose from like architecture, art, business, computing, economics, engineering, humanities, health, languages, law, mathematics, and media.
Kingston University has a well-equipped library with more than 400,000 books and 17,000 journals, both printed and electronic. I have completed my AME(Aircraft Maintenance Engg.),from Bangalore, INDIA in 2009.But it is not considered as a degree.
Currently I am working with some Aerospace Technical Publications company, for AIRBUS.
