Aerospace and Defence Delivery Manager

Key features of the role
The Aerospace and Defence (A and D) delivery manager plays a key role in the Electronics and High Technology team delivering our services into our A and D clients. These clients are either UK-based or overseas based with strong presence in the UK.
One of the key strategic growth goals for Accenture is to penetrate and scale our relationships across a number of A and D clients. Having credible individuals who have a track record of delivering capability and outcomes in the industry is key to the growth we are targeting.
The primary objective of this candidate will be to
Key responsibilities include:
· Contributing to sales campaigns - Positioning and proposing solutions
· Forming teams capable of delivering the services Accenture have sold
· Managing the financial performance of the engagements you lead
· Managing the performance management process for your team members
· Delivering services to the agreed deadlines
· Building trusted relationships
· Understanding customer issues
· Maintaining customer relationships and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering professional services (consulting, technology and outsourcing) into the A&D sector and building trusted relationships with clients.
You will have formed and led bids multi-disciplinary teams.
You will demonstrate leadership, high personal standards, a high degree of creativity, ability to develop intellectual capital and professional ethics. You must be a team player and have strong lateral management and persuasive skills. You must have the spirit, ability and desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment.

Your base location will be Manchester, although you will need to spend time with clients and therefore you must be willing to work away from home Monday to Friday as required.
