Job Title: Engineer - Technical Publications Requisition Number: 10306
Functional Area: Engineering
Work Location: Corporate - India Design Center
Job Description Summary: Creation/revision of Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) etc. for Aircraft Components and Systems.
* Understand customer inputs and incorporate into the CMM and AMM.
* Create T-Files.
* Support with illustration work when needed.
Basic Qualifications: B.E in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
Diploma or AME degree also acceptable
* 1-3 years experience in Technical Writing
* Strong knowledge of Aerospace Standards ATA100, ispec 2200.
* Experience in writing Assembly, Disassembly & Repair procedures
* Experience with Adobe Framemaker, Epic Editor & MS Office
* Exposure to illustration tools such as Isodraw, Tech Illustrator, Paintshop
* Exposure to Simplified English standard ASD-STE 100
* Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and change drivers (Service Bulletin, Service Newsletter, ECN, TR, SIL, ATP etc.)
* Knowledge on S1000D would be advantageous
