Job Description:  Guardian Flight, a leader in the air ambulance industry, is accepting resumes for an experienced Field Based Helicopter Maintenance Technician based in Rock Springs, Wyoming.  We are committed to offering our employees a safe, challenging, professional and team-oriented working environment.

Position will provide on-site maintenance support for base aircraft including management of base inventory, plan and schedule aircraft maintenance, maintain base library and company-owned ground support equipment.

Requirements:

1.  Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate.

2.  At least 3 years (5 years preferred) of FAR 135 rotorcraft maintenance experience.

3.  At least 3 years (5 years preferred) experience maintaining AS350 aircraft.

4.  Strong electrical and avionics troubleshooting skills.

5.  Ability to build and maintain a through knowledge of company policies and procedures, General Maintenance Manual and FAA regulations.

6.  Maintenance planning and scheduling skills.

7.  Computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Preference will be given to applicants with a current FAA Inspection Authorization.

Please note that this position will require some travel. Position will also require on-call status, including work during the day and availability evenings and weekends.

Ideal candidates will possess these qualifications, as well as demonstrated sound judgment and objectivity in decision making, honesty, integrity and a commitment to maintaining a safe aircraft.  Must be able to pass a background check and comply with DOT drug testing mandates.
